Karen Latchana Kenney

Karen Latchana Kenney is an Indian-Irish author and editor born in Guyana and raised in Minnesota. Her middle grade and young adult writing features scientific discoveries, technology, and mysteries of the natural world, including Folding Tech: Using Origami and Nature to Revolutionize Technology (Lerner), honor award winner of the Mathical Book Prize. Her picture book writing explores stories of immigrant experiences, hope, and wonder. Karen also works as an ELA editor at a curriculum publisher and lives in Minnetonka with her family. She is represented by Abigail Samoun at Red Fox Literary.
